OWLAN PHARMA: A TOPIC OF INTEREST TO COMMUNITY PHARMACISTS.

 

Dear Colleagues,

For those sets of Clients that walk into the Pharmacy to request for a drug that can "flush" away every "YamaYama" from thier body after having an unprotected sex, How do you deal with them?

It has become a trend among many people who engage in reckless act of sex, with the believe that, their is an Antibiotic to prevent any form of Sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Some Colleagues are of the opinion that giving an Antibiotic would help prevent certain forms of STIs. Others hold to the opinion that a "Body Cleanser", otherwise known as "Whole body detox" could prevent certain infections. In some cases, as we see, some other Colleagues would rather combine both an Antibiotic and a Detox, just not to leave any stone unturned.

For Us at Owlan Pharma, we strongly discourage unprotected sex. We also advise that Partners maintain just One sexual partner. If you must "Do", then use a Condom.

So Colleagues, back to the question:

How do you deal with those sets of Clients from your Area of Practice? As we all know that the Community Pharmacy practice has largely assumed the role of Primary Health care, and as such, We are the first point of Contact.
